Rutherford Equipment Rental Frequently Asked Questions

• Tanks are 14-day flat rate (non-harvest)
• Filtration, heating & cooling equipment, and pumps are a 7-day flat rate
• Sanitation & bottling equipment are a daily rate
• All harvest rentals are 90-day flat rate

Customers are allowed to transport all equipment excluding the following:

• Pallet wrapper
• Semi-automatic bottling equipment
• Screw capper
• Tanks 550 and larger

Approved vehicles for equipment transportation are

• Flatbed trucks
• Flatbed trailers
• Pickup trucks
• Transit vans

Customers are also required to provide their own tiedowns for equipment

Customers are not allowed to modify equipment. If the equipment does not meet your needs, please contact reservations@rutherfordrental.com or 707-253-7368

You must notify Rutherford Equipment within 24 hours of receipt of equipment if the equipment fails to operate in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications and operation instructions. We will attempt to troubleshoot equipment or provide a replacement if available.

All equipment must be returned in clean and good working order, including being free of all wine residue on the inside of equipment, outside of equipment, and on all equipment parts.

All tank gallonages are estimates provided by the tank manufacturer.

Rutherford Equipment does not rent thermostats for tanks.

Bottle samples and/or drawings are required are all corker rentals to ensure we select the correct corker for your materials.
